Default audiosuite bug 7.4 cs2

nothing happens when I process with AudioSuite plugins, it only works when I choose "overwrite files".
I tried it in a new session, reinstalling pt, nothing helped,
what can this be? I'm on 7.4 cs2 for a couple of weeks now and it didn't happen until now.

that's the go to fix usually

but also with 7.4the overwrite won't show up on my puter until i stop playing

as many of the old multi tasking abilities are out the window with 7.4 at this time

it doesn't seem to handle while you are in play like it used to

more than just the fade thing many people are hollering about

Have you got "Pause during Playback" ticked in the task manager?
If so, try unticking that.

Hope it helps,
Timothy

frank, thanks so much, "use in playlist" was off, I have never payed attention to that feature and I don't think it was ever on... but well... it works now!
what does that do? and why is there the option to turn it off if it won't process without overwriting?
thanks a lot for the help and info!

It processes just fine without that option on, it just doesn't place it back on the playlist when its done. Rather, the newly created region is in the region list and can be dragged out. Check there and your audio files folder and you'll probably find your attempts that didn't seem to be working.
