what are the ratios interms of processing gains per card

i can remember reading that the old mix core and mix farm cards were at a ratio to the first PThd cards at '1 to 1.25'
if this is true (and please someone in the know...please chime in) then that wasn't a huge jump...if incorrect, then please correct this assertion and then, if ya know fill me (us) in on the power jumps from the first HD cards to the present, by generation with the help of ratios trying to learn so that i can compare and define the actual dif between all the PT cards since Mix systems to now, with the PCIe cards, in the attempt to make the correct purchase decision (for my needs) so please, what is the history, specific to power - nailing it in a ratio would be most helpful cheers Stephen |
