Default Artist + FabFilter EQ - So jumpy not smooth

When I do parameter editing with the Artist and FabFilter EQ the values jump and stutter rather than adjust smooth. Is this AVIDS issue or FabFilters? Other plug ins work better

It's because of the non-linear behavior of the knobs. They designed it so that when you turn slowly, it provides extra-super fine resolution for editing.

This doesn't work for all plugins, in fact those that are already adjustable for super fine editing just give you basically almost no control when you turn slowly, you have to catch it at the right speed.

Yeah. I don't like the speed accelerated know thing. I'm always fighting it.
