Default Pro Tools 9 Missing Hypercontrol Input Port

Hi there,

I'm having problems setting up Hypercontrol with my Axiom Pro 25 in Pro Tools 9. The Hypercontrol input port is missing in the Setup > Peripherals > MIDI Controllers window. However, the output port is visible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Carey

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools.

Before you go that far try closing Pt's and trashing these preferences, empty trash and then re-open Pt's and reset your preferences.

users/your comp name/library/preferences/by host/com.apple.MIDI.0017f200xxx4.plist.

users/your comp name/library/preferences/com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist.

users/your comp name/library/preferences/Pro Tools Prefs

BTW, did you upgrade to PT9.0.1? If so did you also do the midi fix?

Axiom Pro connectivity is correct, however HyperControl Personality that is part of the Pro Tools Installer has not taken and reinstalling should fix the issue.

No i haven't installed the 9.0.1 update. I read the release notes and didn't see anything that applied to me. Also, when i run the 'check for updates' utility from the help menu, it says that i'm running the latest version.

Could you tell me what the MIDI fix is?

How much reconfiguring will i have to do if i torch these preferences?

Thanks in advance,

Carey

Do you think the 9.0.1 update will rectify this issue?

Cheers,

Carey

Pro Tools 9.0.1 full installer has the Personality required though not Pro Tools 9.0.1 Updater.

Just re-select the axiom pro in the midi controllers preferences tab and any other preferences you had changed from the default settings.
