Its clear that ST2 doesnt work full stop.My latest fob off is another revision due any day!What is annoying is that
ST2 is the first thing you see on the DIGI sight as it is bundled free with new systems.I bought into the digi name as a pro
user trying to eek a living and as an endorsed poduct I would expect some action from them.

the bundled sampletank is not worth 10$, same with ableton (crashes!!) and the useless T.racks EQ (clipping all the time).

the latency of sampletank is a joke and the included sounds are boring...

reason adapted seems to be useful but in comparism with the the full version its just crap. the whole handling is not professional.

its definitly a kind of rip off to make advertisement like "software worth 1500€" for this suite!!!

I don't know what gives, It's got to be digi hasn't loaded ST2 on a system to really know it just doesn't work as advertised. OR, TDM doesn't mean crap. I'm with you this is completely unacceptable.

Digi didn't get a penny from us last year, we bought 2 Giga rigs and a separate Cubase SX set up for VSTis.

Let me tell you I'm real happy, every day I'm getting more and more used to the whole set up.

Digidesign should be firing people for allowing this to happen. What the hell happened to Digital Audio World domination or how ever the heck the slogan went a few years back.

By the way I crosgraded from SSC/SCII to ST2 I didn't get in a bundle we paid $400.00 from this non working @#$%^!!!

Delta: What exactly in your ST 2 isn't working? Can you be specific about the problems?
Do you have the 2.02 update from the user area?

Ringofire: Latency is controlled by the hardware playback buffer not the plug in itself. If your getting latency problems then adjust this.

If T-racks is clipping them you are adjusting the gain way to much. We have many people using with no problems at all.

Hey Delta - You posted your complaints about SampleTank 3 days ago and the I-K Media tech replyed with the legit question "What specificlly is not working" and you haven't replied. I too would really love to hear some specifics because I have the [bleep] promo bundle version (even though I hardly ever use it) and it's working fine in my H D system on OS 9. I'm in the proccess of switching to 6.2.2 and Panther on a G5 and was thinkig of getting the full on version of SampleTank. I'ld love to hear some specifics so we could compre notes.
