I am wondering if anybody else has noticed errors in the Session Notes about tracks that Pro Tools is dropping when a lower-tier product opens a session containing track widths or more tracks than the current tier supports (these errors should also appear in the popup warning Dialog asking you if you want to save the Session Notes).
I have one case of a session that seems to generate Session Notes that are incorrect, it repeats things multiple times. Like
Code:
Track "Inst 1" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Aux LCR" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Folder LCR" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Inst 1" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Aux 5.1" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Folder 5.1" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Inst 1" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Aux 7.1.6" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Track "Folder 7.1.6" was dropped because only mono and stereo tracks are supported.
Where the Session Notes file here is repeating information for tracks like "Inst 1".
I can't reproduce this in other sessions, and what is bugging me is I think I saw this in the past as well but was not paying as much attention.
