Default Avid Carbon and Apogee Symphony Studio 8X8

Hi All,
I have Avid Carbon and I love it, great audio interface.
I'm planning to get the apogee Symphony Studio 8X8 for the other room.
I know it's have only 8 in/out and there are no digital IO's and I'm fine with that.
Just wanted to know what do you think regarding the Apogee Symphony Studio 8X8 as AD/DA vs carbon, is it in the same level or?

Thanks

The Symphony Studio stuff doesn't spec as well as the Carbon, but it will do a fine job all the same.

Personally, unless you were specifically wanting the room tuning aspects of the Symphony Studio, the Carbon would be a much better match for Pro Tools. And not just because of the integrated DSP and mic preamp control. Avid has a history of supporting their audio interfaces for much, much longer than Apogee. If you ever hit any problems, Avid's technical support is much better too.
