Default Avid thunder bolt 3 chassis rear rack ear

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me where order 1 rear rack mount ear for the Avid Thunder3 chassis?

Tried resellers none of them supply Avid rack chassis parts.
Also opened Avid support ticket. Avid support directed me to sales but I am not the original owner so dead end there as well.

The round about made me dizzy..
Time to let this go now.

So we do not have/sell the rack arm separately unfortunately, but we do have a conversion kit to go from a Desktop to Rack Mount chassis that does have the part you are looking for. Might be a bit expensive for just a rack rail, but it is an option.

Hi Mark,

Yea Steve over at Alto Music sourced that as a possible solution as well.
It's a non starter for me.. price was $229 as I remember and the kit contains parts that I do not need.
