Default Kensington Trackball Question

How is the Expert Mouse compared to the Turbo Mouse I've been using the older TurboMouse with the steel bearings and love'em. Just wondering if the ExpertMouse without the steel bearings and optical sensors are any good in comparison. I've read various pos and neg reviews but want to get opinions from Digi users. I also have an optical Microsoft Trackball Explorer and hate it.

You don't know what love is until you try the Expert Mouse + Scroll ring!
Way smoother than the Turbo.

I own four Expert mouses (meeses ?) and I find them a big improvement over the older trackballs. It's super precise, which is it's best feature, is silent in operation, which is especially nice when you're scrubbing over long regions, and I use the ring for vertical scrolling of the Edit Window. It also comes with a nice wrist rest that helps prevent carpal tunnel.

First guy I saw using a trackball was David Cole, engineering a session at Ocean Way in Nashville....

Just flying... quick, precise... I thought... "Well I should probably switch to trackball"

I suck on a track ball... it's like bowling for me, I tried to force myself to "Stick with it for a bit" and I coudn't get anything done, in twice the time.

So many years now, with a standard mouse, and my muscle memory is fast and efficient, for me it's still a must, i've seen so many other guys do really well with a track ball.... just not me.

I'm pretty good at "New tricks" I've adopted "Multi-Tool" / Command Focus shortcuts, scroll wheel and keyboard shortcut zoom and navigation.

Couldn't teach the old dog, the new trackball trick.
