M Powered upgrade 9 ?
I have to admit to not being the biggest protools user
 I have protools 8 M Powered, my confusion starts with the M Powered 9 just realeased I think... Question: is it worth upgrading from M-Powered 8 to M-Powered 9 and is it even possible? Is it worth paying the extra to protools 9 to drop the m-powered link... Thoughts???

Depends on your need. Essentially ptmp9 adds adc. Pt9 add adc and several other things. To upgrade to ptmp 9 is $199 I believe. To upgrade to pt9 is $349. Depends on your needs. You may feel you don't need any of the added features and can save some $$$

I am using Protools 7.4.2, with M-box 2. Where can I learn about downloading Protools 8 or Protools 9 as upgrade?

Thanks for all the info, btw I saw upgrade from 7 to 8 on avid site but didn't see 8 to 9 but I guess they will sort it out soon if not already.
Forgotten exactly where but I guess a search will turn up the page.
