002 switch between standalone/PT mode is a problem
I need to switch between the Pro Tools mode and the Stand Alone mode with a ProTools session open in order to audition things routed through mixer for playback. On occasion, I can switch to stand alone and back without a problem, but it's becoming more and more inconsistant. Some times I can toggle between modes a few times, and it will finally work. Other times, it requires a reboot (closing pro tools). I would like to avoid having to create tracks in my sessions to audition the other sources. The firmware was updated a week ago and didn't fix this.
Any thoughts? thanks greg [email protected] |

Re: 002 switch between standalone/PT mode is a problem
As far as I know, the Digi 002 is not designed to do this. I'm surprised you've been able to get it to work at all. I've always just created the tracks in the session and left them inactive when I didn't want to use them.
