"EON-Arp 1.1.0 Out Now - Massive Update"

Received the Modalics email June 30th, as I owned EON-Arp before Pro Tools adopted it.

This update was released a few days ago, was wondering when it will be updated in Pro Tools too.

I hope we get all the updates when Modalics actually release them, right?

Maybe I don't get it but I played with this last week (for a decent block of time) and thought it felt like an amateurish toy which ultimately didn't render anything useful. Maybe I need to watch a tutorial.

Not a fan either but the Modalics email said "Massive Update" so I was curious to test it but it is still version 1.0.5 in Pro tools. Hmm.

Was just wondering how long it will take Avid to update their new third-party plugins.

Same day as the third-party vendor's official release would be really nice actually.

This goes for all the new PT plugins not just EON-Arp.

I don't know which version is installed with PT but I think that what I was seeing here (PT 2024.6 is installed) matches what's on their site, which I assume is the "massive update."

I just went looking for it. Does it get installed in the Plugins folder? I didn't see Eon but it's very possible that I deleted it.

Current Pro Tools-installed version (and on Avid Link) is 1.0.5
Hyped update, according to OP, is 1.1.0

Thanks for clarifying. Since their promotional materials didn't show any obvious differences I wasn't sure what I had.

I am curious to test this new update obviously.

Can I have both the original paid version of EON-Arp and the Pro Tools version installed concurrently?

Any ideas?

Not a silly question at all as I just had some strange behavior with this.

I opened up the non-MIDI FX version which prompted me for an update.

I did the update but afterwards the plugin thought I had registered 2/3 licenses even though I had just updated it and not registered a 2nd license. I tried to remove the license and drag the .txt file back in but it kept saying 2/3 licenses not 1/3.

Then I used Wide Blue Sound's Audio Plugin Uninstaller to uninstall it and then downloaded the installer and installed the plugin again.

Upon opening Pro Tools and choosing the plugin, when I drag the license key in again it says 1/3, so back to normal!

So yes they both work in PT just wanted to share what I just went through anyway in case you have the same licensing issue when you update the original version of the plugin :)

Ahh nice, wasn't sure if it would work!

I installed the EON update, opened PT, then the plugin and was not asked for a license key, it just opened up right away, no weirdness there luckily!

(Wide Blue Sound - Audio Plugin Uninstaller is pretty badass, a real timesaver)
