Will the new yet to be released Digi midi I/O work with the 001? And if it does will the time stamping work?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yes, when it is released, the new MIDI I/O will work with the 001, as it is an OMS-Compatible MIDI interface.

Time-stamping will be supported in a future release of Pro Tools.

Please make the time-stamping Logic Compatible (or make them make Logic ProTools Midi Time Stamping Compatible).

Also - please implement Apple Core Midi for OS X when possible.

OMS does not exist with Mac OS X.

-We will supply a MIDI I/O driver for Mac OS X.

-We will, however, also provide an OMS driver for Mac OS 9 applications.

Ahhaa!

That's why the Midi I/O is coming later than all of the other stuff. It's gonna be released at the same time as the OS X version?! Which means quite soon!

Must be something like that. I mean technically it must be the easiest of all HD boxes to develop......

Does Digidesign have any plans to release a smaller version of the MIDI I/O? A half-rack 4x6 (like MOTU's Micro Express USB) would be sufficient. Thanks.
