Can\'t install the driver for my Ozone MIDI control
Hi. I have been using PT M-Powered Academic 7.1.1 now for a few weeks and it has worked fine so far. Yesterday, however, I tried booting it up and got a message saying it couldn't detect my devcice (Ozone Academic) and so it closed down. Looking in the Sound and Audio options in the Control Panel, I saw that somehow XP wasn't even detecting it. Then turning the Ozone off and on, resulted in the New Hardware window popping up. It seems the driver was no longer installed or at least being recognized as working with the Ozone.
I've tried several (many) times to re-install the driver using the discs that came with it and though they seem to install correctly, there is still the same problem of the Ozone not being recognized. I have also tried the same process with the newest driver from the Digi website with the same exceptionally poor results. Everything was working fine, then for seemingly no reason just quit and I can't get it going again.! Any ideas? Thanks. Dean |
