Program Changes to Helix??

Okay, I have searched high and low for helpful information about this, with zero luck.

I have a Line 6 Helix rack unit. My band uses Pro Tools for clicks and vocal refs. I’ve also been using it for months to send MIDI CC data to the Helix (via MIDI cable) to change the snapshots within my Helix. It also controls the tap tempo for delay parts. These functions have worked flawlessly for months.

However, now that we’re adding more songs to the set, the 8 available snapshots per preset won’t be enough. So I made a preset for every song, with snapshots to flip between every part of the song. When I went to set up the program changes in Pro Tools, nothing happens in the Helix. I’ve read through all applicable manuals, just about every forum on here, and watched countless YouTube videos about it, with no help.

Has anyone else encountered this? I feel like I’m doing everything correctly, but clearly I’m missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
