Default getting midi into ptLE thru MBOX

so is it possible at all?
im a novice on this.. so can ppl please advise?
i dont mind loading it up through some other input device that goes back into the mbox as a waveform as opposed to a midi. is there such a device?

this is basically the number of inputs for my own usage...

a guitar input, one microphone input, one for keyboards/synths. and thats about it.
but these are too few for a 001 to be worth it and mbox has got only 3. and i dont want to keep on plugging in and out the jacks. my friend is spoiling his second hand 001 coz he thinks thru the combined duration of use of the 2 owners the insides of the thing were loosening, affecting the contacts. at first he thought his cables were the reason, but a check proved it was the contacts within the 001.

so erm.. please help!
thanks.

Pete

MBox is not equipped with MIDI ports. Therefore, you will need to purchase a separate MIDI interface to input/output MIDI to/from PT LE.

-As for audio inputs and outputs, MBox is only equipped with two analog inputs. Therefore, you will probably have to do some cable swapping if you want to monitor the audio output of your synth in the session (using an Aux Input).
