Default Dismiss Need for Relinking

Several sessions insist upon relinking audio files which are now irrelevant by virtue of my having deleted all tracks or playlists which reference those unlinked files. How may I simply dismiss, once and for all,, the relink task so it will consider the task list complete?

Remove the italicized regions in the regions bin.

As indicated above.
Regions menu>select all unused>then remove.

Sure, makes sense but those regions aren't present (italicized or otherwise) in the regions bin as they're been previously removed from the session. So I am puzzled why they exist in the need-for-relinking task list. What I'm trying to do is get rid of them as outstanding tasks.

Thanks for your kind assistance.

Select Regions/Show/Auto Created.

You probably have it set not to show them.

Brilliant Drew! Indeed I had them hidden with inadvertent use of option apple K! Comment, if you would, on the benefits of showing vs. hiding Auto Created Regions.

Many thanks,

I've never encountered a situation where I needed to have them shown. I'm sure someone else will chime in with one.
