LE 7.1.3 (-48) Error Message...App Won\'t Start
Both a PT and a Mac newbie here...
Just installed MBox 2 Pro Factory on a Mac Book Pro 2.16. OS 10.4.8 Everything seemd to install fine, but on first and subsequent attempts to start program received the following: A file with the specified name already exists (-48) while creating "DAE Prefs" Clicking OK merely closes the window. I've deleted the Preferences folder under Users>name>Library to no avail. I've also tried to Uninstall...which did not work. So I deleted the Digidesign folder and reinstalled...to no avail. I downloaded and installed LE 7.1.3r2 as well with no luck. What am I missing here? Thanks! The support phone system is overloaded and wouldn't accept my call... Jeff

You need to turn off Filevault in the Security panel of your System Preferences.
