New Mac help

Hi Guy's i want to get myself a mac to start mixing at home to save some cost from renting out big studios I have to options i would like to know with one you recommend

1 - New 2018 Mac Mini m1 16 gig ram

2- Imac 287 inch late 2012 running Catalina
10.15.4, 3.4 Ghz Quad core Intel I7
24 gig ram ( i will max the ram out )
1td HDD SSD
Gpu: Nvidia Gforce GTX 680mx 2gb


I will mostly be doing Rock music mixig
