Default Mbox2 with 8.0.4 windows 7 driver problem

i installed pt update 8.3 then uninstalled the audio driver, restart the computer and installed 8.0.4 audio driver for windows 7 x64.
it detects as Degidesign Mbox2 Analog 1/2 on sound device.
But sounds are all scratchy and destorded. Any other DAW Sonar, Cubase is the same thing.

So do you just uninstall the 8.0.4 audio driver and then it defaults back to the 8.0.3 drivers? Or do you have to do anything else?

uninstall 8.0.4 drivers and run a repair on 8.0.3 to re-install.

Haven't updated to 8.0.4 drivers, but am seeing the exact same thing with 8.0.3 - Win 7 x64 + 8.0.3 drivers = scratchy, distorted sound (from any DAW or audio playback device).

Help?

Thanks,
Scott Osborn
