ADAT interface for 002 QUESTION

Hello im looking at buying a Behringer ADA8000 Ultragain Pro-8 which has adat lightpipe included in it....
will this work with the 002 or will i need some software or???

Total piece of crap, don't waste your money. The 001 pre's and converters blow it away, and we all know how bad they are.

I had a buddy purchase one. Finally on the thrid one the first one being DOA out fo the box, and the second and thrid ones having no working ch7, we gave the 7 channel unit #3 a test run. total crap. Typical Behringer.

Regarding software, there is not software requireed for a lgihtpipe converter, you simply connect it to the lightpipe i/o of your 001 or 002.

Save your money, and check out the Aleisi AI-3 (If all you need is line i/o) or the Digimax or (my fav) the Focusrite Octapre. Also, in 2nd quarter 2004 Mackie will be releasing a lightpipe pre/converter as well.
