Default Very nice Z170 Skylake mainboard for Pro Tools HD4 accel PCI-e...

Hello,

I'm about to rebuild my "old" Pro Tools HD4 accel PCI-e system on a PC. After research I found this Supermicro mainboard:

http://www.supermicro.nl/products/mo.../C7Z170-SQ.cfm

Looks great, neat and simple. 6 PCI-e slots, HD accel cards will go to lower 4 slots leaving 2 slots empty for VGA and/or extra DSP cards. OS - Windows 7 64bit. Currently I have PT8 software but probably will upgrade to 9 or 10.

What could possibly go wrong?? ;-)

Cheers!

S
