Default Echo Farm Bug?

I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this.

Often, but especially after a DSP shuffle, Echo Farm behaves very strangely. If I have a mono in, stereo out instanciation only the left side will output signal until I open the plug in and hit compare. Mono in, mono out instanciations will have delay times and repeat levels that are not as the interface would indicate until I open the plug in and hit compare. The safest way for me to print mixes is to always hit compare on every instance of Echo Farm after opening the session. It gets very frustrating.

I've had this problem on my old rig (a Power Tower Pro) and my new rig (G4 733). Has anyone else experienced any abnormal Echo Farm behavior? I've found nothing by doing a search.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem until I upgraded to HD in April. Since then I've had no problems with Echofarm.... 'cause it's not available yet!

If I use automation on mine, occasionally it will begin to make warbling noises which increase in volume as if the box is in a feedback loop. It's a DSP hog, I'll quit using it 'til I get hd.

My Echofarm is sometimes silent until I re-instantiate it. Also the overload light gets stuck. It's the most buggy plug-in I've ever had.
Mix system report.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Well, time to meet FROMAGE!!!! This totally brilliant, wacky and free RTAS plug-in from French Ohmforce makes Echofarm look like a walk in the park. Fromage crashes my Mac in new and exciting ways never experienced since the old PT 3 DUY plug-ins. Unfortunately, Fromage is too good to be left alone so I tend to record it as soon as I have something good.

Oh, by the way: Fromage is French and means....CHEESE!!
