Hello,
I have been trying to generate Timecode from the USD using the System Setup window. When I select Generate TC using USD . . . Position Reference changes from LTC (my usual setting) to Generate. The word "Generate" however is greyed out. Of course when you play . . . no timecode is generated. I am able to generate TC by using manaual (non-remote) mode. All other functions of the USD work normally. My system . . . G4/400, PT Mix Plus, USD connected to Digiserial Port. Thanks in advance! Any suggestions very appreciated. Sincerely, Dennis Cham |

Dennis,
Make sure that pro tols is "online" when you are trying to generate from the USD. Sounds like your settings are correct other than being online. B Carter Digidesign |
