Default help with vocal reverb settings

I'm a novice engineer using pro tools and need some lead vocal/backing vocal reverb advice. How much should I use for pop/rock? How should I pan the returns? Do I EQ them, delay them? What are good reverb settings? Rather than reverb, it seems that a lot of people are using delays -- suggested settings? And lastly, can I feed lead vocals and backing vocals into the same reverb/delay?

Thanks,

Giovanni
