The UAD Lex 224 is great for rock and pop, UAD plate can be good on certain vocals too a really cool plate emu but both needs a UAD2 dsp card and runs as an aax native.

Avids Reverb II is excellent AAX DSP and Native some good plates and halls don't overlook it as many do simply because it has an Avid badge.

Sonnox Reverb has a great quality is especially superb for BVs as with the front back control you can make vocals have a 3 d quality by setting them further back than the lead. AAX DSP and Native

I've just started playing around with TSAR and I'm liking it thus far too. AAX Native only

If I want to use some specific IR it doesn't matter whether I'm using TL Space or Altiverb, or Waves IR which is also surround. It's just repeating the impulse, the tweaking part can be done in so many ways.
In all honesty I have never even even used the IRs it comes with.
I loaded them in my mac once tried it for a second then never again.
they might be great but Id rather put the effort in myself

Redline Reverb:

64bit VST via BlueCat Patchbay

= AAX PT11

(Apparently an AAX version will be coming.)

TL Space DSP, Reverberate, VRoom (VST inside VEPro). Reverberate is very cool because it also allows a lot of processing of the IR as it's playing back...as well as early and late relections, you can put a bit of chorus and eq and change where those efx go in the processing chain, allows for tweaking a preferred IR further into the mix.

My favorite algo verb is VRoom. To be AAX by the end of April...and for the price it's insane.

UAD LEX 224 is fantastic, but I do have to wrap it with Blue Cat's Patchwork.

Im using IKMultimedia's CSR (classic studio reverb ) ie- plate , hall, room, inverse .

It has a lot of room for fine adjustments , and its easy to quickly dial in a good reverb with the main GUI opened up , then you can push the advanced button - which reveals many more areas for finer tuning.

I like them , but I cant compare them to others I dont already have so I cannot comment further on how they stack up against the competition ....,

- but with my experiences so far I'm quite happy with them , and there is nothing I dislike about them which makes me feel I need to trial and purchase any more.

It is usually comments / reviews from many fellow users (ie; not company marketing BS) which I tend to believe re; plugins ..., So if I do hear of people shooting down in flames that my IKM-CSR reverb really does suck compared to their better branded choices (ie; from their experiences of extensively using both) , then my ears will prick up to this and it may persuade me to download a trial version of their preferred brand of plugin so I can compare
