For those of us that are Post Production oriented, Re-Mixers, Sound Designers, Dialogue Editors....etc, is there any feedback picture and sync related?

Any issues with plugins, AAF imports etc????

Cheers
JT

The midi editor has some serious issues. Using the grabber tool in the midi editor, grabbing a note an moving it does not work. It also doesn't sound when pressing the note.

In the velocity editor, I can hear the volume of the note changing as I move the diamond up and down, but the visual doesn't show a change.

I wound up using the score editor to move the note, but it too, doesn't show the note on the stave where it is sounding.

So I think 2022.7 is a no-go if you edit MIDI.

Yes. MIDI is totally useless in 22.7. But it's been discovered that switching temporarily to sample mode can enable you to edit midi notes. This has now enabled me to use 22.7 again.

Well .. interestingly .. Avid Link showed an update on 22.7 .. even though they didn't bump the revision number?

Anyways, after it installed, MIDI started behaving again. .. only weird thing was it removed PT from the Dock (Mac).

Yes, there was a glitch with the first installers released for 2022.7, as they didn't include certain bug fixes. There was a second installer released that fixed those omissions. 2022.7.105, I believe. There is a sticky thread about it in this forum.
Here is a link to page 2 where Jeffro explains:
