Default MacBook 2,16 GHz core 2 Duo with PTLE 7.1.1 = Problems??

I have the new MacBook 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (MB063LL/A, black) and i try to run PT LE 7.1.1 with Mbox2.

Ive runned into some problems that i cant get rid of. The major and most annoying problem is that after a little while of recording, a strange sound or click appear (some kind of digital loop maybe?). This clicking sound appears almost everytime i try to work with PT. What cuold it be??

Another problem is that i always must set the buffersize to 2048, even after recording only one track for a few seconds! Why??

And for the most the program is behaving unstable and unpredictable..

Im a new PT-user and i feel very disappointed with how it works (maybe i should say how it not works).

What can i do about my problems?? Someone please help!!

//Mattias

if you have Bluetooth and Airport, make sure they are turned off. Other than that I don't know what to advise.

is dashboard off?if not do a search for how to turn it off in the support section

if so the only thing I can suggest is to upgrade to 7.3cs4

that's working fine for me with the same macbook (with 2 gig of ram) and an original MBox

Think it will run better if you upgrade to 7.3, I have the same Mac Book but running Protools LE 7.3 On A digi 002 and it runs fine! So Far.

Maybe you are right, but one want to be sure that that could solve the problems before you go and buy stuff..
