Default lookig 4 nubus disk i/o info

I am currently trying to research a PTIII Nubus system.

What is the track count, I/O and maximum voices for one PTIII Disk I/O?

Can more than one 888 be connected to a single I/O card?

is it possible to connect two 888 I/O's to a NuBus system with a disk I/O and two dsp farms?

Any feedback would be tremendously helpful. I am having trouble finding info on Digi site.

thanx

max voice count with one nubus disk I/O card would be 16. Max I/O 72 if memory serves me and you put in enough disk I/O and bridge I/O cards in an expansion chassis.

one interface per I/O card (bridge or disk). DSP cards did not have the possibility to connect an interface in those days.

Interfaces needed to be connected to Disk I/O or bridge I/O.

Max system setup was 2 disk I/O for 32 tracks.

All this if memory serves me ok .... been a while ....

hope it helps

Everything is correct except the max track count is 48 on nubus, I have one myself, the 4.2 manual lists it as well, Digi's "Answer Base" has all the needed info for the nubus stuff, just type "nubus" in the search, lot's of useful info...
