Same here when I updated to mountain lion and PT 10, but everything else has been very solid. This does need to be fixed, it's not an OS issue if Avid states PT is now compatible with MT Lion that means they need to do the fixing....

Fixed in 10.3.2
Automation breakpoints are no longer added unnecessarily when editing clips with Automation Follows Edit turned on. (PTSW-173028) Automation overlaying audio that is then processed using the Strip Silence command is kept intact. (PTSW-170804) Does not list thus issue but perhaps they fixed it. Has anyone updated and tried it out?

Has anyone installed 10.3.3 and checked? This is such a basic function and for those of us who mix with a mouse, it is really a pain and should have been fixed by now.

From what I know it's a bug in Mountain Lion. I don't know if Avid can work around it or not.
