Default Roland Octopad ll Midi Pad Controller

Any one using this pad with drum software such as BFD2, SD2 etc.


Mac Pro Nehalem 8 core/OSX 10.6.3
Pro Tools HD2/v8.0.3
MOTU Express 128

Don't have it but it should work fine. You will likely need to program each trigger pad to your choice of midi note to net the desired instrument sound from the plugin.

I have a Roland Octapad II and it works fine with drum software & samplers, it acts just like a standard MIDI keyboard does. But you will need to do as albee1952 suggests and program the Octapad II to generate the correct MIDI triggers. For each pad you will need to set the correct MIDI note number, trigger length, velocity curve and pad sensitivity.
