Click Problems
I am still having problems getting my click track to work while in low latency mode.
I am running a digi 001 on protools 6.4 I will add the click plugin on to an aux track and it will work fine. Then when I turn on low latency monitoring, the click plugin greys out and it turns off. If I turn the output on the click track to bus 1, it will show the soundwaves for the click, but no sound will come in to the headphones? Can anybody help me with the correct settings so I can hear the click while in low latency mode? Thanks! |

Re: Click Problems
Print your Click. I never used the Click plug in 6.4. Sorry I can't help you there. Just record 1 bar of your click then duplicate it in grid mode.

Re: Click Problems
Cool, by print do you mean bounce to disk?
I just bounced to disk, then reimported the click as an audio track, and copied it down the track. Seems like a lot of work to get a click to work in low latency mode though:) Thanks! |

Re: Click Problems
Bus your click out to a new audio track. Record 1 bar. Duplicate. Not sure if plugs work on aux trax in 6.4 while using LLM. I never use LLM. Just a buffer of 64 or monitor off input.

Re: Click Problems
just to add upon kris, when you say it greys out in low latency, it will do this to any plugs you would have going on the basis it is redirecting the cpu power to tracking and dropping latency, so it disables plugs which typically are resource hogs.

Re: Click Problems
I have a digi 001 and the last protools for that 6.4
the click doesnt work in low latency mode. you can however improve the buffer so there is a shorter delay. but one thing that has been bugging me though is I imported a session from an hd system that had a click and it runs on low latency mode which confused me because everybody told me it doesnt. so yeah whatever.
