Will newer interfaces like matrix with an hdx card work with the older Mac. Also, do you know where I can find any AAX 32 bit plug-ins for my current system?

I know your Digi 002 will work, but your Matrix I have no experience, or know if it will work.


You should have access to your plugins on your account.

I’m currently using an hd 2 tdm pcie core card with 2 accel cards and a 192 I/O. I think the192 I/O will work, I’ll have to upgrade the cards.

You should update your signature. Still has old geared listed. Better chances of someone chiming in when they know what you have currently.


I'm sure it will work if you remain on Mt. Lion.


But the PCIe card would not work in a G5 Mac since it's a PCI, and not a PCIe.

The cards I have now are pcie, the Mac Pro is mid 2010. I think I’ll have to upgrade to HDN if I want to be able to use new plugins, 32bit aax plugins are hard to find.
