Weird, I have many of the plug-ins mentioned here (Melodyne, bunch of IK Multimedia effects, VMR, VCC, Sampletank 3) and the only one that is unstable for me is Melodyne, which crashes Pro Tools about 10% of the time.

For me is a GPU problem.

How so?

You can easily and cheaply upgrade to a different card, if that would solve your problem.

I was discussing this with feliponk in the Spanish section, I have a pretty decent graphic card, it's a Geforce GTX 645 and everytime I use the trial of VMR my computer freezes, the only way I can make it work is by lowering the screen resolution to 16bit

That was when I had 10.3.9, never tried it on 12, or 11 to be accurate
