Set this to individual files / clip by clip. Set the handle length (bottom right) to something like 10 seconds. Now you will have 10 secs of handle length before and after your selection and you can make crossfades (of up to 10 seconds).

Note this setting will process/transfer your files before clip gain / clip fx. This is applied again after processing, but it might sound different during previews of RX. This goes for any audiosuite plugin.

Also,

Read up on handles.

https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=323283

This is not an Izotope issue nor a Pro Tools issue, as others have suggested.

Thank you! This audio-suite setting for RX connect allowed crossfades between two rendered clips post RX processing. Although in this way RX audio suite has two seperate clips/files (left/right) for RX processing as opposed to a stereo clip. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'll keep testing this along with varying handle lengths, default is 2 seconds.

Also check out page 168 and 170 or so of the Pro Tools Reference Guide (with 2022.12)

The "Interleaved" session options might be of interest to your workflow.

Used to be, PT was always multi-mono or separate L + R.
Since some time back, can go interleaved and use single stereo files.

I'll do some further testing with this. Thanks.
