Default Multiple outs vs Send

Is there a difference between sending out on the send bar of a track vs selecting the multiple out function with the + sign as far as the signal is concerned?

Exclamation Re: Multiple outs vs Send

A send can be pre or post fader. A multi routed signal (+) is post-fader.
