Hi,
I've just bought a new iMac 21.5 i3 (the standard base model) and am having an issue with the audio. When I load up Pro Tool (latest update), i get hum on my speakers (KRK RP5). I've tried changing the USB ports on the back of the mac, and also tried moving the mac away from the speakers in case this was causing an issue, but no luck. When I loaded up Waveburner I got the same issue. Does this seem like a core audio problem? Any way to fix this? I never noticed it with my macbook.. Thanks in advance, Tim |

Problem solved. Simple fix of swapping speaker leads for balanced ones!
