Using 4 1622\'s as 8 in and 8 out
With the huge setup we just snagged, we got pieces that we will never use. We have 4 of the 1622's and instead of getting rid of them, I was thinking of trying to integrate them into our setup. We've got 2 888/24's, 1 more on the way, but we also have these 1622's. Is using these 4 1622's in this fashion a crazy idea? It wouldn't be something we'd use all the time, but I can't think of much else to use these for considering our setup. Having more I/O would be better since we mix on a console and have tons of vintage outboard gear.
Good idea? Bad idea? |
