Default Fresh install OS X Mojave can't create project

Hey guys

I got excited because I found out Eleven Rack will install on "newer" versions of OS X. I downloaded drivers & software, then installed. Drivers installed fine. Editor installed fine.

I can access the hardware & set it up as an interface on my Mac Mini (i5, 2.5 GHz, 16GB). But the editor doesn't open... even though I had no errors pop up on install. It said "install successful"

While messing with it trying to get it to work, I decided to download ProTools First. I've never had another version of Pro Tools on this MacMini. It installed successfully. I tried to start it up & I got this error "Could not complete your request because No such file or directory (2) while opening "Plugins_dfdeb58-223a-471b-a260-4801c3270a44".

I can click "OK" & PTF seems to start up fine. I can sign in. I can change my audio setup. I can log out, log back in. I can access "about ProTools First" I can go to the Avid Link Home. All the menus open fine. Fast, responsive. Looks like the program is running, but a project is never created.

I uninstalled & reinstalled Eleven Rack drivers. I uninstalled Eleven Rack editor. I unsinstalled & reinstalled PTF. I downloaded the install a second time, uninstalled & reinstalled again. I keep getting the same error after scanning plugins & still can't create a project.

I installed iLock, signed in, authenticated everything... What else am I missing?

Thanks for the response DetroitT

But no joy. ProTools already has access to the microphone in Security & Privacy.

Like I said, I can open the Hardware manager just fine & select the inputs/outputs of all my devices.

the project screen just doesn't show up.

I was able to record several audio tracks. Saved it as a project. Closed PTF.

I started PTF, it would not let me open the project I just saved & closed.

I was able to create two more projects. Same thing happened with them.

So as of now, I can create a new project. But I can't open them. I also can not create a new project from a template.

An update, incase any one can think of something that might help.

Pro Tools First starts. I still get an error about a plugin it can't find. I click ok, the warning goes away. All the menu items show up across the top of my screen. I can click & access just about everything from them.

However, I can not consistently open or create projects. Most of the time I click create/open project & nothing happens.

Some times I click create/open new project & everything opens fine. Works fine. I can create tracks. Record audio, playback... save. Close.

The next time I create/open project usually nothing happens.

I didn't mention before. I'm trying to use PTF 2021.3.0

To be clear, Projects are Cloud based, Sessions are local based.
So, what is your internet and Avid cloud status?

I recommend creating a SESSION instead of a PROJECT. As said, Projects are in the cloud(mostly) and sessions stay on your hard drive(which hopefully is fast enough. SSD is preferred, 7200 rpm is minimum)

That's interesting.

Internet is working fine. I am able to sign in when PTF starts. When I click to create a project it says 0/3 as if I have no projects on the cloud.

When I go to open a project it says 0% storage. I don't know if that's telling me I have 0% available... I don't remember buying any cloud space. Or that I'm not using any storage.

There is a list of the six projects I created & named.

I have an option to sign out.

There is an option to convert a session, but no menus to create or open a session.

I clicked on the Avid Link button on my menu bar & it gave me another opportunity to sign in. I signed in, but I still can't create or open a project at the moment. I see nothing referencing a cloud.
