Cant figure out why I can't record mono tracks in PT. I can hear sound and the track is armed to record but no signal is showing and it doesn't record. Stereo tracks are no problem. Any advice would be appreciated..thx.

Hello,

Without any information on your system I have to assume you are plugged into input 2 on the interface, but selecting input 1 on the track in Pro Tools. If this isn't the case, give me
your system details. Which interface do you have? Which version of Pro Tools are you on?

Thx for the response. Its the Fast Track PT with M-Audio interface. There is only 1 input ( 1mic / 1 line) with 2 outputs. I have tried messing with the inputs / outputs with no success. Its the version with 16 audio tracks mono/stereo, 8 virtual inst., and 8 midi tracks.. thx again. Oh yeah, running a macbook pro with leopard 10.6.4
