How Do I get better Instrumentals?
Alright I got a question... I like to do vocal covers but I have a problem with the instrumentals. I can't find downloadable instrumentals anywhere for the songs I want cover. So I just download the songs I want and then take out the vocals using audacity. The problem is that it takes out to much of the drums and some parts of the instrumentals I like. Is there a better way to go about this?

Re: How Do I get better Instrumentals?
Hello, You can import instrumental files into Pro Tools. You may want to check Karaoke websites to get high quality instrumentals. You could also try to find the songs you want to cover in midi files and import them into Pro Tools. This will give you individual parts(guitar, bass, drums, keys, etc) and you could assign different sounds to each part.
