No Meters in Avid Control App

Hiya,


This is a bit of a strange problem. I don't use the Avid Control app that often but I've just noticed when using it on my Android phone, that the meters don't move when a I record arm a track. In fact, I've just noticed that none of the meters move for any audio being replayed in the session which is even weirder. But the app is still able to control PT.

Anyone have any ideas?


Am using PS 2024.6 Ultimate with EU Control 2024.6 and the most recent version of the Android app.

Yes, have the most recent EuControl and app version. I'll try it out on my tablet later on but it's weird as it has previously worked fine on my mobile.

The most recent version of EuControl is 23.11 you need to update it.

I have the same issue with the following configuration:

Mac Studio M1 Ultra
Ventura 13.6.7

PT 2024.6

EUControl 2023.11.0.121
Eucon 4.17.2.121

iPad Pro M4 OS 17.5.1

Avid control 2023.11.0.266

All functions on control work correctly; there is just no metering. I have double-checked the network settings. No connections are blocked. I'm stumped.

Can you post your network prefs window with the list of adapter?

In the Mac prefs theres an EUCON Icon with a network adapter setting, can you check that, Also make sure External WS is selected.

Did you turn it on, or on and off again? It should be OFF. This setting reconfigures the network settings to change so maybe it jolted it into working.
