HELP! Losing MIDI when switching programs...
I hav recently encountered this rather peculiar and ANNOYING problem- didn't seem to be an issue for the first 2 months...
I launch PT and all is well-- OMS is talking to my Proteus 2000 and MIDI is playing back. NOW, after everything loads and runs fine, I switch back to the Finder or any other applications (Metasynth, even OMS Setup). Then I go back to PT and MIDI is no longer reaching the Proteus! The track 'meter' is going but there is nothing being sent. Nothing with the OMS 'Test Studio' function either. The only workaround is to quit PT and re-launch. Huh? Anyone? |

Re: HELP! Losing MIDI when switching programs...
You can try going to OMS midi setup and checking - run midi in the background. Also make sure you have serial DMA UNCHECKED in oms preferences.
Let us know if this helps. B Carter Digidesign |
