Sync Issues... Surprise, Surprise...
I'm working on a music video that was cut in Final Cut Pro (23.98fps / 48kHz), then was exported with all of the current settings so that I could do some sound design to the intro and outro. All is well in Pro Tools but when I bounce a 48kHz mix and import it into FCP, there's sync drift (it's fine at the beginning but drifts over time). I was always under the impression that this happened because of sample rate discrepancies, but as far as I can tell, everything is the same through the process. So...
1) Anyone know what's going on and how I fix it? 2) Worst case scenario, can I Bounce To Movie, and make that the master? Is it the same video quality as straight out of FCP? Thanks! |

Thanks Minister. That's absolutely nuts.
