Please help with Midi Patch lists
Hi, New guy here,...trying to setup my midi instrument patch lists in PT.
I had the lists I was using in DP opened them in Cherry Picker and then exported as PT lists in the correct Digi patch name folders,...the devices are setup in Mac AMS, and showing. Following the manual, when I click on the midi track that's output to midi device "none" to load a device lis.. I get the following message "Midi Server patch file, bank or mode information not available for this Midi instrument" Can anyone offer some help here? Thanks in advance. Pete |

Re: Please help with Midi Patch lists
It may help if you tell us what device you are talking about.
Also the "Digidesign Device List.middev" file may need to be altered to point to the "xxx.MIDNAM" file that you are creating with cherry picker. File name references need to be exact. Make a copy of the middev file before altering it. Read through this thread, too.

Re: Please help with Midi Patch lists
Sorry to be slow to respond, but it was probably better that you worked through it for yourself. Glad you got it working.
