Default SSL\'s Pro Convert...

Has anyone had any experience with SSL's Pro Convert or know anyone who has?

If this program is any good it could really make audio/music production and collaboration truly platform AND program independent.

Thanks,

700$ wow. But I could see studios making the purchase.

If it works as advertised, I can see a lot of people ponying up that regularly beat their heads up against the "interoperability" brick wall.
Forum allegiances and "industry standard" spin aside, the real world is ripe for such an application.
My last CD project involved no less than 4 DAW platforms.

I maybe wrong...but I think this use to be the old EDL-Convert application that SSL not-so-long-ago purchased. If it is this program has actually been around for many years (at least as far back to the release of Vegas 2.0). I had heard mixed reviews about it..but maybe it has improved since the SSL acquisition.

I'm sure that was only $400 when cui-bono software made it.
an extra $300 seems a lot to pay for that little SSL splash screen.

The link Weed posted says:

"Pro-Convert represents a version up from Cui Bono’s V4.0 software and brings the application fully up to date with the latest versions of popular DAW formats."

Now, how much tweaking has actually been done is anyone's guess...
