No Meters in Avid Control App

Have to say I'm not getting anywhere. In fact, I now can't even control PT from my phone - I can't recall changing anything but I now don't see any of the tracks. And I'm on the same wifi network.

And my Samsung tablet doesn't want to play either.

Everything is up-to-date/on most recent version. I re-installed EUCON_WorkstationUnifiedInstallMac_2023_11_0_121 earlier to see if that'd help.

I've had this setup working perfectly with previous versions of PT. But not now.

How is your Mac connected to the router? Ethernet or Wifi or both? Have you checked the things IO posted earlier for the other person? Did you restart the phone?

My Mac can either be hardwired to router or use my Wifi. Have restarted multiple times and I didn't see anything posted previously that looked like it could help.

Still getting nowhere. Have uninstalled/reinstalled EUControl and I've lost the EUCON System Preference control. And when I run EUControl I get a spinning beach ball and eventually an error message which isn't very helpful given I can't change my EUCON Preferences.

Very tedious ...

Can you post an image of your Mac network adapters page and the EUCON pref window?

Now this is interesting ....


I updated my OS from Ventura 13.6.7 to 13.6.9 and suddenly I could access the EUCON preferences which allowed me to deselect "Enable as External Workstation".

And then I chose to stop using my mesh wifi service and connect via my main router.

And voila, we're back in business...

I want to explore the mess wifi service as I'm sure I've previously had it working that way. But good that I've found a way to get things working again.

The mesh should work BUT it has features that disrupt the EUCON network. Band switching and hub switching are the main too. You need to set the Tablet to not do this in the mesh settings.
