Emulation, ugh.

Someone at Avid, please try to convince TC to release their S6000 surround algorithms as native AAX. The stereo algorithms are 100% identical to the S6000 box.

With appealing stereo-to-surround upgrade pricing of course.

No one can convince TC. We still remember how they ditched their TDM plugins with no compensation whatsoever. This is a sort of company which dies hard...but eventualy dies.
I used to have many TC's TDM reverbs which I loved at a time. But with today variety of some fantastic alternatives, I feel no nostalgia for this era.

What do you mean? There was upgrade path from VSS3 TDM to VSS3 AAX and now there is upgrade path from VSS3 AAX to S6000 (stereo) bundle AAX, also including VSS4

TC have dropped the ball badly by not just porting the surround algos of the 6000 to software.
They could upgrade it to immersive pretty easily using what they learned from the now discontinued Reverb 24.
It would be great to have all those post presets to hand that were used in countless movies of a certain period.
Most of the new reverbs are firmly directed towards music production and lacking in post orientated presets/algos, that often wouldn't be anyones choice to enhance music.
Even the new Relab version of the 6000 is stereo only, sad.

Easily? Hmmm.... take a look at how long it took Eventide to release immersive blackhole and you can ask them why not all of H9000 because it is so easy (and surely there are plenty of customers willing to pay 10k for it)
