Default Avid Maintenance | 07/18/2024 @2:30am GMT

Please be advised that the Avid platform will undergo maintenance July 18th, 2024 @ 2:30 am GMT for approx. 60-80 min.

You can view your time zone here.

During the maintenance activity, the following will be affected/intermittent:

Avid Everywhere/Platform
  • Sign in will be affected, for Pro Tools clients
  • Project functionalities such as upload to the cloud, listing projects on the cloud, etc. will be impacted

Avid Link
  • Sign in will be affected for all clients (mobile, desktop, etc.)


Sibelius Cloud
  • Rendering scores will be affected as asset and resource services which are platform components, are dependent on the rendering service

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and Avid operations will be monitoring the maintenance activity during this time.

LAST UPDATE: ACTIVATION ISSUE - 07/22/2024

1. Our hosted Collaboration and Edit on Demand services: NOT AFFECTED

2. Application downloads: NOT AFFECTED

3. Video Community forums were down, but now back up: RESOLVED

4. Avid Customer Care is not able to connect to customer systems remotely to resolve issues: RESOLVED

5. Issuing new licenses: RESOLVED

6. Product activation in Avid Link and MyAvid: RESOLVED. The following are now working:

Online Activation - Now working
Offline Activation - Now working

Cloud Activation - Not Working

Note1 : All licenses purchased on shop.avid.com during the outage have been deposited to customer accounts.

Note2: Online Activation and Offline Activation are working. To learn how to use Offline Activation, please see the article at this link https://kb.avid.com/.../Offline-Activation-MC-Avid-Link.


As indicted previously, Users might encounter Avid Link getting stuck in "Synchronizing Account" status when they log in - A bug has been logged for this issue and the team is currently looking into it. For reference the bug number is AMPT-12938. Although users can still activate their software even if they are logged out of Avid Link.

We are also aware of the outages that our customers are facing within their environment - we encourage you to work with CrowdStrike to restore those they are actively providing guidance to their customers - https://www.crowdstrike.com/blog/our...todays-outage/

As indicted yesterday, Users might encounter Avid Link getting stuck in "Synchronizing Account" status when they log in - we are aware of this issue and this is expected behavior for next 24 hours. Many Avid Link clients are now trying to sync to get the entitlements so there will be latency to process thousands of requests at the same time . Although users can still activate their software even if they are logged out of Avid Link.
