External MIDI device patch lists Win 7?
PPC Mac guy here considering Windows box. Where/how are MIDI patch lists for external devices stored/handled in Windows 7 for PT? Any supplied with PT? Editable? Location? Any info appreciated . . . Thanks.

I'm familiar with .midnam and device files on the Mac, but I can't find any info on the PC side. Are they the same XML files on both systems? I was poking around on a PC with PT and can't find .midnams, etc. Thanks.

OK - just found them under \Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign. Needed to expand the search. Looks good - I'll be able to transfer and test a few I created myself on the Mac. Any subtle differences to look out for? Thanks.
